Dr. Lyons is a board-certified family medicine physician and Medical Director serving school-based health programs in Los Angeles, where he oversees care delivery, clinical quality, and community partnerships. He earned both his Medical Doctorate and Master of Public Policy from UCLA, allowing him to speak fluently at the intersection of health, systems, and equity.
His background also includes:
Former U.S. Navy Corpsman, including deployment to Fallujah, Iraq, providing frontline medical care in high-pressure environments
